This series of workshops(8 lessons) aims to impart fundamental important techniques to master for Comprehension, Personal Recount Essay Writing & Language Arts/Literature.

Super Speakers: Show & Tell, Public Speaking Holiday Class
(4 – 7 years old)
For “shy” kids who are afraid to speak up, these sessions help build their confidence.
Learning outcomes:
- Introduces public speaking elements (eye contact, voice projection, hand gestures, body language) and techniques
- Prepares your child mentally what to expect at such sessions and specific pointers to do well for show and tell
- Helps your child to learn to become a confident and eloquent speaker
- Public speaking skills in front of an audience, learning to overcome stage fright and “freezing” in front of audience
- Train your child on how to prepare for show and tell sessions.
- feedback and analysis of your child’s presentations after each session
- Q&A training – to hone participants on their answering skills
- Follows primary schools’ show and tell format
- Small class size (max 6 students) allows for maximum participation

Learning Journey’s Super Speakers™️: Public Speaking Workshop
Learning Objectives:
We believe in empowering children to develop a growth mindset and attaining the relevant skill sets in a nurturing environment where they will get to maximise their potential in public speaking under the watchful eyes of our encouraging trainers. The workshop will be conducted by our Principal-Founder Ms Grace Tan, together with LJEC teachers.
In this workshop, your child will learn many useful techniques which they can use for Public speaking.
- Strategies to build, plan and organise their thoughts and speech content before they speak to an audience.
- How to speak in an organised, coherent and convincing manner.
- How to project confidence using body language and variations in their vocal tonality and eye contact.
- Learn how to engage the audience using verbal and non-verbal communication cues.
- Three golden rules for speaking on their feet (impromptu speech)
- Master the LJEC Super Speakers™️ framework to script an effective and powerful speech.
- Public speaking presentation in front of an audience where participants will present a topic of their choice.
